The American Smallbore Shooting Association is a non-profit corporation registered in Cincinnati OH.
Starting in 2015, it was noted that there was a significant decline in participation at the National Championships. As a result, several long term competitors formed the ASSA to provide a transparent non-political organization - for shooters, by shooters - that would focus on reversing this trend.
