Mike has been competing in smallbore rifle competitions since 1971.

• He is a Life Member of the NRA, TN. State Shooting Association, and a member of the CMP and USA Shooting.
• He holds the master classification in Smallbore and Metric prone.  
• He was the Any Sights and Senior Champion at the 2018 Smallbore Prone Nationals conducted by CMP at Camp Perry.

• He is a member of the Black Hawks Rifle Club.

• Mike coaches H.S. 3-P Air Rifle for the Harpeth Hall School in Nashville TN.

• He is retired from Nissan North America.
