3-Position Match Photos

The 2019 version of the ASSA continued at the Cardinal Center range, and changes had been made.  A roof was in place, and a sound system installed as well as electrical power on the range.  Greenery had taken root on the berm and on the range, while not exactly turf grass it was better than the desert like conditions of 2018.  One change that was added was the turning pistol target hardware.  More thought could have been given to the range layout but from an engineering perspective it was perfectly laid out much to the chagrin of a prone shooter seeing the turning target stem directly in his sight picture.  Moving off to the side slightly solved the problem.  A permanent structure was planned that was to eventually serve scoring room and match control central.  It was not built for 2019.
