2018 match Photos

In 2018 the ASSA took a leap of faith and hosted their Championships at the brand new 100 point range at the Cardinal Center in Marengo Ohio, north of Columbus.  The range was literally still under construction on the day we arrived to begin preparing the for the match.  Concrete for the firing lines had been poured the day before.  The frame work for the cover was in place, but not the actual cover.  Tarps were hung by the Cardinal crew and for the most part it worked well until a torrential rain came between the prone and 3P championships.  When the tarps were full of water.
The competitors hardly complained because we believe they could see the potential for the range, that had no greenery, no bath rooms, no shade, but it was a fair range.
The ASSA staff learned a lot from that first match at the Cardinal Center.
